In 1989, he was hired by a Colombian drug cartel as part of an elite unit of ex-special forces commandos recruited to assassinate notorious drug baron Pablo Escobar. Killing Escobar uses home movie footage, fresh interviews and staged reconstructions to tell the story of that mission.
